Bridging the Gap between Research, Policies and Practice – Perspectives on dyslexia

The European Dyslexia Association, in cooperation with the University of San Marino, is happy to announce European Dyslexia Summer Seminars in San Marino, from Friday 30th of June to Saturday 1st of July 2023.
The conference will feature presentations and panel discussions on research, policy and best practice regarding dyslexia (reading and/or spelling disorder) and dyscalculia as well as opportunities for people to meet and network. Registration is now open!
The conference language will be English.
You are now invited to submit a spoken research presentation or a research poster, on the subject of dyslexia and dyscalculia related to theory as well as practice.
Call for papers
This EDA seminar will focus on looking at dyslexia from different perspectives. We are calling for papers, for oral presentations or posters based on dyslexia research aligned with the following perspectives.
For oral presentations:
- Definitions
- Social and cultural perspectives
- Historical perspectives
- Life Perspectives
- Technology
- Work place
- Cross linguistic perspectives
We are also calling for interactive poster presentations sharing new research or evidence based practice on dyslexia or dyscalculia.
We will not accept any presentations trying to promote products, companies, or services.
For research presentations or posters, your submission should consist of:
- Presentation Title (max 100 characters),
- Authors and their affiliation
- Purpose (max 600 characters),
- Method (max 600 characters),
- Results/conclusions (max 600 characters)
- Please specify if you prefer to have your presentation as an oral presentation or as an interactive poster.
- Please include your contact details including email address and a phone number.
Each oral presentation will be allowed 20 minutes.
Posters will be presented during interactive poster sessions on Saturday July 1st.
Please send your abstract to events@eda-info.eu by April 7th, 2023. The deadline for poster presentation has been extended until April 28th.
You will be informed about the results of the review process by April 30th 2023.
If accepted, your submission details will be used to form an abstract for the conference programme.

EDA’s 2023 Summer seminar fee is 195€ for Early Bird (available until June 6th). Don’t miss the possibility to register for the Social dinner buffet (limited number of seats available at 25€ per person).
