EDA recognises March 3 as International Dyscalculia Day. EDA encourages all our members to make full use of Dyscalculia Day. By coordinating the timing of our dyscalculia awareness actions internationally, we amplify the message across Europe and worldwide.
EDA has developed a logo which our members can use to recognise the day and drive awareness of dyscalculia. In order to spread the word, please use the hash tag #DyscalculiaDay and tag @EDAdyslexia in your posts.
Free Dyscalculia Webinar
On March 3, 2025, EDA is delighted to offer a free webinar on Dyscalculia with Professor Marie-Pascale Noël, a leading expert on this maths learning difficulty. During the webinar, Professor Noël will review the definition of this mathematical learning disorder, and look at the warning signs and criteria for making a diagnosis. We will look at the prevalence of this disorder and, above all, beyond the figures, the impact it can have on the individual’s emotional and professional life. We will briefly outline current research into the causes of this disorder. Finally, we will look at the help that can be given to people suffering from this learning disability, in particular, interventions whose effectiveness has been proven.
