Stanislas Dehaene is one of Europe’s leading cognitive neuroscientists. He holds the Chair of Experimental Cognitive Psychology at Collége de France in Paris and is a founding director of NeuroSpin, France’s advanced brain-imaging research centre. He is the author of multiple books including Reading in the Brain (2009) and How We Learn (2020).

Marie’s research area is child neuropsychology. She is studying the numerical development in children with or without math learning disabilities. She is also interested in the inhibition process: how to measure it in children and how to favor its development in case of difficulties at that level such as found in children with attention and hyperactivity disorder.

Maryanne is the author of more than 160 scientific articles, she designed the RAVE-O reading intervention for children with dyslexia, and with Martha Denckla, co-authored the RAN/RAS naming speed tests, a major predictor of dyslexia across all languages.

Silvia Paracchini is Professor of Neurogenetics and Genomics at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Her research focuses on identifying the genetic components of dyslexia and related neurodevelopmental disorders, and handedness.

Fotini Polychroni is Professor of Educational Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Her research interests include motivation, cognitive and metacognitive strategies of typical children with and without learning disabilities, assessment of cognitive and metacognitive processes and psychosocial adjustment, screening and early identification of reading and comprehension difficulties, school engagement and intervention effectiveness.
