On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, as part of EWoS – European Week of Sport, the partner organisations of the Erasmus+ Sport SASLED Project are holding the final conference of the project.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:20 PM at the Istituto Salesiano Della Beata Vergine Di S. Luca, in Bologna, and will be streamed live on the Italian Dyslexia Association’s YouTube channel.
During the conference, the results of the project, which began in January 2023, will be presented. Specifically, an e-learning course (5 modules with 12 video lessons and materials) and guidelines developed to train and raise awareness among educators, teachers, coaches, and sports volunteers about SLD (Specific Learning Difficulties) will be introduced, aiming to make sports activities more suited to the learning attitudes of people with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and dysorthography.
The conference is part of a day entirely dedicated to promoting sports among young people as a tool for inclusion. In the morning of September 24, students from third-grade classes of the school will engage in sports and physical activities (running, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and ping pong), with the participation of qualified coaches who will pay special attention to students with SLD.
